THE END GAME by Gerrie Ferris Finger

By Theresa de Valence - Posted on 15 September 2010

I won a copy of Gerrie Ferris Finger’s THE END GAME. Moriah Dru is an ex-cop PI and runs Child Trace Inc which tracks down lost/runaway abducted children. Her boyfriend, Richard Lake, is a Lieutenant with Atlanta police.

The story is action packed and has some of the qualities I most enjoy: a likeable protag; the love interest is minor but well done; there are some nice exchanges between people; I learn about something I didn’t know about (trains); and the writing is extremely good.

This story deservedly won the Malice Domestic Best First Traditional Mystery.

I'll be reading everything else she writes ;)
