Becoming an authenticated user and group member

An authenticated user is someone who registers a valid email address. You may accomplish this as follows:

On the left side of the screen, under the "log in" box, click on the link for "Create new account."
Add your log in name, real name, and a valid email address.
Click to join any group - make sure to mark DorothyL :) and any others of interest.
Click SAVE at the bottom of the screen (no changes are saved otherwise).

Go to your inbox for the email address you supplied. This will be at your own site where you read your email (i.e. at google.com, yahoo.com, aol.com, mac.com, rr.com, etc.). Find the email from ReviewsByTdeV, inside there will be a hyperlink (usually underlined in blue), click on the longest hyperlink in the email, which will bring you back to your My Account page on the ReviewsByTdeV website. This is what "authenticated user" means: you have supplied an email address at google et al, and ReviewsByTdeV verifies that is a valid email address by sending your "temporary password" to log into this system to you at your email address. This hyperlink is a one-time login, so it can be used only once. It expires after one day and nothing will happen if it's not used. If that email expires, or you forget your password, you can go to the login screen at http://www.ReviewsByTdeV.com and click on the button marked "Request new password" which will email you a new temporary link.

Fill in other information as appropriate. If you're an author or other user interested in letting people know who you are and how to find you, make sure you read the "Authors, please read!" page under the Reference menu or click here: Author Info.

Note: If you created a login without joining a group, click on the "groups" menu item on the upper left. Then click on the menu item to join whichever group you'd like.
